Jim Keller-Led Tenstorrent Raises Another $700 mn For AI Chips At $2 bn+ Valuation
Jim Keller, a renowned semiconductor engineer, leads Tenstorrent, a chip startup, which has raised more than $693 million in a Series D funding, giving it a $2 billion pre-money valuation.
Samsung Securities and AFW Partners led the round. Jeff Bezos’ Bezos Expeditions, Fidelity Management & Research Co., and LG Electronics also joined the funding for Tenstorrent, which aims to rival semiconductor giant Nvidia in the creation of chips for AI. Export Development Canada, Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan, Hyundai Motor Group, Baillie Gifford, and other investors also participated in the deal.
usdx.money Secures $45 mn New Financing at $275 mn Valuation
The stablecoin infrastructure project, usdx.money, has announced that it has raised $45 million in the latest round of financing. The round puts the project’s valuation at $275 million. Investors for this round include NGC, BAI Capital, Generative Ventures, and UOB Venture Management, with a portion of the investments made in the form of warrants. Its pre-existing investors are Dragonfly Capital and Jeneration Capital.
Pantera Capital Invests $20 mn in Telegram
Pantera Capital, a leading hedge fund and venture capital firm in the cryptocurrency space, recently secured $20 million to invest in Toncoin. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has filed documents revealing that two investment vehicles raised the funds, securing commitments from 29 investors. The minimum required investment was $250,000.
Barter Raised $3 mn in a Seed Funding Round
Barter, a Chile-based decentralized exchange (DEX), has raised $3 million in a seed funding round. Key investors include Digital Currency Group, Maven 11, Lattice, Daedalus Angel Syndicate, Heartcore Capital, and ANAGRAM. This funding will help Barter innovate and grow within the competitive decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem.
Rarimo Closes $2.5 mn Vision Round with Vitalik and Other Key Founders
Ethereum’s Vitalik Buterin led a $2.5 million fundraising round for Rarimo, a zero-knowledge (ZK) identity protocol. Other investors included Celestia’s Nick White and Aztec’s Zac Williamson, among others.
The Vision Round, exclusively for founders of leading chains and ZK protocols, aims to unite leaders around a shared vision for the future of digital identity.
